Last Saturday (18 March 2023), Hua Cheng Education Centre at Rivervale Community Club held a Chinese Experience Class, specially curated for children between K2 to P3. It was a fun-filled event where the children had the opportunity to learn Chinese while enjoying themselves. The purpose of the event was to introduce the children to the beauty of the Chinese language and encourage them to explore various question structures that often appear in the MOE Chinese syllabus.
The theme of the event was “Careers and Dreams 职业与梦想”. The children were taught how to express their aspirations and ambitions in Chinese and further elaborate on the reasons. Through interactive games, the children were able to expand their vocabulary and improve their sentence construction skills. They were also encouraged to speak Chinese frequently.
